Just the Basics

• Computer, Windows, Mac or Linux
• Internet access, high speed or dial-up
• Adobe Acrobat Reader for printing HCFA 1500 bills* 
• Any Internet Browser that supports 128 bit encryption*
• A monitor that supports 800x600 resolution is recommended but not required

What Kind of Internet Access

You can access the Internet in many ways. Chances are you are already connected since you are reading this. MedTask was designed to work with any computer that connects to the Internet. Our clients use every type of Internet connection from the most basic dial-up modem to sophisticated high speed lines. If you can access the internet, you can use MedTask.

Although the system was developed to work with traditional dial-up phone lines, a high speed connection like DSL or Cable may be better suited. The speed of the MedTask system depends on the speed of your connection. Contact your local phone or cable company for more information about what is available in your area.
